Join us as artists-in-residence Angela Zammarelli and Jia-Jen Lin present their work during the Bemis Center’s First Thursday Art Talk on Thursday, March 4th at 7:00 p.m.

Angela Zammarelli creates playful installations, videos and performances using textiles, objects and domestic imagery. Jia-Jen Lin’s sculptures and performances explore issues of identity, self-consciousness and displacement.

NEW ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE
Jia-Jen Lin
JIA-JEN LIN, New York City, NY: March 1 - May 30

Jia-Jen Lin’s sculptures and performances explore issues of identity, self-consciousness and displacement. Lin received a BFA from National Taiwan Normal University and an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. The artist lives and works in both New York and Taiwan.

The Bemis Center is pleased to announce solo shows for two former artists-in-residence. Oceanside Museum of Art presents Plastic Fantastic, an exploration of artificiality, by Allison Renshaw (AIR 00) through June, 2010. Christine Gray (AIR 09) presents work created while in residence at the Bemis Center in her New York solo debut, Closer and Closer, at Rare Gallery
